Stump Cross Caverns might be one of the lesser-known natural elements in the Yorkshire Dales National Park but they're undoubtedly one of the coolest things to see and they should definitely be on any itinerary throughout the Dales!
Hidden beneath the Yorkshire Dales, this ancient cave formation complete with its very own cinema is a magnificent sight to behold and with its rich history spanning millions of years, it's a true wonder to experience.
Be sure to bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes with you as the caves are very cold, often sitting at a temperature of around 7°C all year round!
