Taking a Peek in a Real U-Boot From World War Ii

Just like yesterday, we start the day off right with a nice and calm view on the Elbe river. You can walk by the waterfront or just sit back and relax. A good stop before we really start the rest of the final day.

From the little beach you will drive to Cuxhaven, and learn all about the artist Joachim Ringelnatz. This little museum offers a wide variety of poems and prose that Joachim wrote, but also his life story and countries he has visited. Did you know that Joachim Ringelnatz was born as Hans Bötticher in 1883? This and more is all showcased in this museum.
Open from Tuesday-Sunday from 10am-1pm and 2-5pm.

From tapas on day 2, to Italian on day 3. This Italian restaurant serves the best pizza's and pasta's, but the services is what makes it truly unforgettable. You can leave your car at the museum for the little walk to te restaurant.
Open for lunch between 11.30am-14.30pm, closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

Today is the day you will see a real submarine from the inside. This U-Boot is located at the harbor of Bremerhaven and is a real used boat from World War II. It is constructed at such, that it could stay under the water for a long time, but also go at full speed. The explanation is in good English, so you can learn all about this interesting boat.

It is time to take some rest after visiting the U-Boot in Bremerhaven. It probably made a huge impression, so this beach is the ultimate place to chill and enjoy a nice and ice-cold drink.

We're ending this trip with a nice Greek meal. They have been serving great meals since 1987, and many happy customers visited before you. All the dishes are served with the well-known Greek hospitality, so the perfect way to end this 3-day trip.
