From Hiking in Nature to a Miniature Museum in Hamburg

The first stop of today is this beautiful nature park in Braken. Here you can follow the paved routes and enjoy the very ancient trees. There is a moderate loop you can walk, which is about 4.5 km. It starts right at this parking lot. Take 1.5 hours for this walk because the nature is too pretty to rush through.

After the gorgeous hike, it is time for some refueling and coffee. This well-known coffee house serves good sandwiches and amazing pastries.

This museum is so cool, you really have to visit! It is packed with all kinds of miniature objects, like trains, railways, cities, beaches and basically anything you can think of. Getting there Walk from the hotel to Gertigstraße, which is 500 meters away (take 2 lefts). There you can take bus 6 to Auf dem Sande (Speicherstadt). From there, it is only a minute walk to the museum (just cross the street).

The food they serve is amazing, the entourage is gorgeous and wine-lovers are also right where they need to be. Getting to the hotel by bus: From the restaurant, cross the street to HBF/Mönckebergstraße and get on bus 19. Get off at Maria-Louisen-Straße, and you're at 750 meters away from the hotel (take Cacilienstraße which leads you right to the hotel at Dorotheenstraße).
