The Largest Living Museum in the World — AlUla

Visit Al Ula Museum and feel the true heritage and power. The museum tells the history of the capital of the kingdoms of Dadan, Lihyan and the trading hubs of the Nabataeans linked to the Islamic era. The government of Saudi Arabia invests a lot of money in tourism development. They are going to build a new museum building and cultural centre in a modern design, inspired by the surrounding landscape and the rich historical context of the site. The project has already been confirmed and the construction will start soon.

A really beautiful famous restaurant in Al Ula, with a summer terrace and traditional food. You will sit among palm trees and a wonderful landscape, or inside, in an Arab interior. There are amazing choices for lunch - Arab coffee and traditional food. The place is located outside the city, so the atmosphere is totally calm.

AlUla is a unique spot: it is called the largest living museum in the world. The Old Town is only called old; actually, it was inhabited in the not-so-distant past. It includes nearly 900 houses, 400 shops, and 5 town squares. The Old Town of AlUla still contains remnants of some of the original stone and mudbrick buildings constructed here. Don't forget to visit the town’s tantora, or sundial, where residents track the changing seasons. Just walk through the streets and feel the true AlUla vibe.

Amazing location in the centre of the desert: a really great option for tourists. It is the heart of Al Ula. Start from the tourists centre to understand what the destination offers in terms of amenities, services, and activities. The park is huge and contains different cafes and food trucks. It is surrounded by a good view of rock formations and mountains. The scenery and fresh air will definitely keep your stress away.
To reach the historic tombs you need to join a group bus tour, so choose what you want: to walk, grab some snacks and enjoy the place, or use an excursion service.

This place represents the traditional Arabian farm. It is a fantastic agricultural fairytale. Walk through the fruit gardens, pick dates, oranges, lemons, and pomegranates straight from the trees, and buy a fresh fruit smoothie made from the fruits you have just picked. All products here have the AlUla Quality Stamp. You can buy souvenirs in the gift shop or grab some fruit. Just relax and enjoy nature.
